Stop Child Trafficking Now
SGI is sponsoring a mass public fundraiser (The Walk to Stop Child Trafficking) around the nation on October 2-3, 2010. Thousands of participants will form teams and raise money. All funds will be awarded to partner-approved organizations who are working to stop this most heinous crime of Child Trafficking--to those working to stop the demand side of child sexual slavery in particular. Accompanying this event will be a year-long education/awareness campaign bringing attention to the cause, inspiring hope, and rallying participants. Corporate sponsorships are available upon request. Your donations are tax-deductible and greatly appreciated.
Child sex slavery is growing at epedemic proportions. Over 13 million children are currently enslaved around the world. Predators are preying on innocent victims, children as young as three years old. The Thirteenth Amendment put an end to slavery in 1865. Two hundred and forty-three years later there are more slaves globally than ever before. Stop Child Trafficking Now is a 501 (c)3 organization, linking forces with operative efforts to shut down the demand side of child sex slavey. To learn more about how you can put an end to modern day child slavery please consider joining thousands on October 2-3, 2010 as we Walk to Stop Child Trafficking. Click here www.sctnow.org to sign up for the walk and discover other ways to be involved with ending child sex slavery.
